Responsible for providing rapid-response maintenance and repair services to aircraft that are grounded due to mechanical or technical issues. This role requires travel, flexibility, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues under time-sensitive conditions, ensuring aircraft return to service safely and efficiently.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on avionics systems and components per manufacturer and regulatory standards.
- Conduct thorough inspections and testing of avionics equipment to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs.
- Coordinating with other maintenance personnel and departments to ensure timely and effective service.
- Maintaining detailed records of work performed and parts used.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Stay current with industry trends, technology advancements, and regulatory changes related to avionics systems.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in avionics or a related field is preferred.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification or FCC license is highly desirable.
- Experience in avionics maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
