Job Title: Inspector
Job Description
The Inspector will verify work performed on aviation articles to ensure compliance with manufacturer and customer data. This role involves conducting incoming, primary, hidden damage, in-process, and final inspections. The Inspector will review maintenance records, documentation, and logbooks to confirm that all necessary repairs, inspections, operational checks, and documentation have been completed according to approved technical data. Additionally, the Inspector is authorized to approve work performed for return to service and will perform tasks as assigned under 14 CFR Part 65, always observing company safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Verify compliance of work performed on aviation articles with manufacturer and customer data.
- Conduct incoming, primary, hidden damage, in-process, and final inspections.
- Review maintenance records, documentation, and logbooks to ensure all necessary repairs, inspections, and operational checks have been completed.
- Approve work performed for return to service.
- Perform tasks as assigned under 14 CFR Part 65.
- Observe company safety requirements while conducting inspections.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 years of aviation inspection experience
- Will accept prior military CDI experience or Quality Assurance/Quality Inspection
- A&P License is required

Work Environment
The work environment is a modern facility located at Rockford International Airport, featuring two 10-story hangar bays spanning 238,000 square feet. Inspectors work primarily on commercial aircrafts, including 737s and 737 Max, in a very clean hangar. However, it can get cold from September to May due to the hangar opening and closing. Current shifts are either Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday from 4:00 pm to 2:30 am.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $66000.00 - $72000.00/yr.
